With varying industry opinions about the best option, we put the parts to the test. Hobart Service and Parts Town commissioned a project with Frontier Energy to conduct a head-to-head bench test performance evaluation of genuine OEM parts against non-OEM or generic look-alikes. **The Test** - The Purpose: Test real OEM parts vs. generic parts - The Engineers: Frontier Energy - The Equipment: Vulcan 36” Salamander Gas Infrared Broiler - The Parts: 3 OEM Infrared Burners and 3 non-OEM burners #### **The Results** The study showed a significant difference between genuine OEM and generic parts.
